DW 09/2026 - Drinking water analyses

Proftest Syke will organise a proficiency test (PT) for the analysis of COD_Mn, Fe, Mn, chloride, fluoride, sulphate, pH, conductivity 25 °C, NH + 4 , NO − 2 , NO − 3 , Ca, K, Mg, Na and hardness in drinking water and in raw water.. The purpose of this proficiency test is to ensure the comparability and accuracy of the results of the participants. About 40 laboratories are expected to participate in this proficiency test. The measurands and samples of this proficiency test are included in the Water chemistry scheme of the Proftest Syke accreditation scope (finas.fi/sites/en).

Registration deadline is on 12 August 2026
Sample delivery date is 8 September 2026.
The final report for the proficiency test will be published in January 2027.

On this page we inform the important dates for the current proficiency testing scheme. You find information about the time frame for registration, the sample delivery date¹ as well as the schedule according to which the participants should report their results via this user interface.

¹⁾The sample delivery date indicates the date we send the samples to national participants. For international participants the sample delivery depends on the destination. The aim is to deliver the samples so that they arrive at the same time than for the national participants.

Proftest Syke does not take responsibility for delivery delays but possible actions needed due to delays will be taken into consideration case-specifically. The participant is responsible for possible clearance or customs fee of the samples.
