Uutta jätteensiirtoasetusta aletaan soveltaa ilmoitusten käsittelyssä 21.5.2026. Jätesiirtoilmoitukset käsitellään nykyisen asetuksen mukaisina, jos niistä on annettu vastaanottovahvistus viimeistään 20.5.2026. Ilmoitusten käsittelyyn on hyvä varata riittävästi aikaa käsittelyruuhkan vuoksi. Nykyisessä järjestelmässä valmistellut ilmoitukset eivät siirry automaattisesti uuteen järjestelmäversioon.
Finnish TFS system for notifications of transfrontier waste shipments
This service assists operators to fulfill their obligations related to transfrontier waste shipments requiring pre-notification according to the Regulation (EC) 1013/2006.
The supervision and control of international waste shipments is based on Basel Convention on the control of transfrontier movements of hazardous wastes and their disposal, on the OECD Decision on the control of transfrontier movements of waste destined for recovery operations and on EU Waste Shipment Regulation.
